Plein Air Class for Adults

Early Bird Discount: HAPPYTREES

Step outside the studio and paint from life.
Plein air painting is the practice of creating art outdoors, working directly from the landscape to capture natural light, color, and atmosphere in real time. In our four-week courses, students will be taught the fundamentals in a variety of mediums and develop their skills in observation, composition, and technique.

Each course consists of three in-studio classes and one outing. Classes are held Thursdays from 5–7 PM. Each course will explore a different medium and style, with the final class being a half-day outing.

This class is designed for adults; though Aspire students may participate by invitation.
